The staff, the accessibility, location and cost
The hotel is central to everything we parked the car and had no need to use the car untill the following day we enjoyed a lovely meal, live music and after enjoyed a short walk back to the hotel, it was a real treat.
We found the staff friendly the accommodation adequate and the location excellent.
Service was great, food was excellent, room was very clean I would reccomend this hotel to everybody
Size, location, friendliness of staff, feeling that the service was 'personal'
Lack of secure car parking facility. I feel sure that a formal arrangement could be negotiated with the 'Supervalu' across the road from the hotel that would benefit everybody - where customers are travelling by car, any parking fees can be included in the price.
The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere which fits perfectly into its position in the middle of Cliffden. It would seem that all ages mingle together to enjoy this charming hotel. the dining area is ideal for all and seems to attract locals as well as guests. I think it is a clever idea to offer a mixture of prices for breakfast ranging from toast and coffee to a full Irish breakfast. This would seem to please all of the people all of the time. To sum up good value for money in an ideal location. Lesley Carter
Relaxing/comfort qyailty of food friendly and helpfull staff
i found it a nice place to stay having stayed there last summer ,
its a nice location and nothing seems to much for the staff , very nice.
service, refilled coffee in room and put extra radiator in when asked
The situation of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are large clean and the bathroom facilities good. The management and staff are courteous, helpful and friendly.
As the hotel is located in the center of Clifden the noise factor from the street late at night is very disturbing. Perhaps double glazing or even treble glazing could be considered.
The best thing about the hotel was its central location in Clifden within walking distance of all the pubs.
The hotel is the architectural disgrace of Clifden, and stands out as an ugly building in the middle of an otherwise very beautiful town.
Very good informative, pleasent hotel staff. Breakfast room and service excellent.Location excellent being in the centre of Clifden.Rooms large and comfortable. Good value.
small television set in room with few channels available
